Angela Clarke appointed Interim Vice Principal at Heritage Heights School

Foothills School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Angela Clarke as Interim Vice Principal of Heritage Heights School. Ms. Clarke will be working alongside Interim Principal, Ms. Shanda Dupras, for the 2026-2027 school year.
Throughout her career with Foothills School Division, Angela has demonstrated a dedication to creating engaging learning experiences, fostering positive school culture, and supporting student success through meaningful connections and inclusive educational practices.
Since joining Heritage Heights School, Angela has served in a variety of teaching roles that have allowed her to work closely with students, families, and colleagues across multiple grade levels. She is recognized for her collaborative approach, instructional expertise, and commitment to creating learning environments where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Ms. Clarke has also demonstrated leadership through her work in curriculum development (including her participation in the most recent curriculum development team during the summer of 2026), participation in the division's 2025-2026 Learning and Leading leadership development program, common assessment planning, professional collaboration, and school-based initiatives. Her passion for continuous improvement and her strong relationships within the Heritage Heights community have made her a respected and valued member of the school team.
A lifelong learner, Angela holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Calgary. In June 2027, she will complete her Master of Education in Educational Leadership for Learning from the University of Calgary. Her commitment to professional growth, collaboration, and instructional excellence supports her work as an educational leader focused on student achievement and well-being.
Angela is known for her relational approach to leadership, strong communication skills, and dedication to building positive and supportive learning communities. Her understanding of Heritage Heights School and commitment to students, staff, and families position her well for success in this role.

After 15 years as a teacher and learning coach within this community, the school’s staff, students, and families hold a very special place in my heart. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue working alongside them, building on the strengths of our school and fostering a caring and inclusive community. I look forward to continuing to support our staff, advocate for all students, and work collaboratively with families so that everyone feels valued, supported, and connected to our school community.”
