We are happy to share with you that basketball tryouts will be starting up after the November break. We would love to encourage anyone interested in playing basketball or curious to know more about the sport/league, etc to come to tryouts, meet our coaches, and potentially join our Husky Athletic Family. Girls and Boys Sr. tryouts (Grade 8 & 9) will take place starting the week of November 20th, with the Girls and Boys Jr C (Grade 6 & 7) will follow at the beginning of December. Grade 6 basketball will start immediately after the Christmas break. This year, we would like to extend an invitation to our Grade 6-9 families to join a New Husky Parents Athletic Committee. This committee is in its beginning stages and will be designed to support athletics in our building. Our next meeting will be November 28th from 3:30-4:30 in the Learning Commons.

Husky Athletics Council
In October of 2023, a group of parents have offered to create a Athletics Council under our Parent Council to support coordination of our athletics programs. If you are interested in learning more or want to support, please reach out to Shannon Cederstrand. FIRST MEETING November 28th, 3:30-4:30. All interested parents welcome.
