My name is Jeff Balzer, and I am the guidance counsellor at Highwood. My primary role is to support students in their academic planning during their time at Highwood as well as helping
students prepare and plan for post-secondary education and career planning.
I also support students that are struggling academically, working with students and staff in
planning a path in which the student can experience success in the classroom in working towards their diploma. I am also part of a support team at school that helps students both
academically and social-emotionally when needed.
