Dear Parents and Care Givers,
It is that time of year again, and registrations are open for families in need of support at Christmas Time.
Here are some of the supports available in the High River Area.
Please review and consider which best fits your family's needs at this time.
The Salvation Army's Christmas Gift and Food Hampers, Registrations will be in person.
Nov.12th, 5-8 pm.
Nov.13th10-1 & 2-5 pm.
Nov.14th10-1, 2-5 and 6-8 pm.
Nov. 15th 10-1, 2-5 & 6-8 pm.
No appointment is necessary, bring ID for each person in the household to the Salvation Army Church 117, 2nd Ave SE, High River, on one of those dates and times.
Shop of Wonders: A no cost joyful shopping experience for parents and care givers to choose gifts for their children by appointment and make Christmas magical. Register on line at:
Magic of Christmas 2025; Is now accepting referrals directly from agencies. If you are interested, please email me. I will contact you to complete the application and submit it to them. I must have all referrals made by November 25 so please contact me as soon as you decide. Families must be available all-day Saturday, December 20 to meet the Magic of Christmas Team, receive gifts, enjoy Christmas Cheer and have a picture with Santa if you wish.
