École Okotoks Junior High School (EOJHS) is proud to offer CrossFit. Ocelot CrossFit is a non-profit school affiliate approved by CrossFit Inc.

Ocelot CrossFit runs the CrossFit program during the school year through the before/during/after school program.

In implementation, the CrossFit workout is, quite simply, the “sport of fitness.” We’ve learned that harnessing the natural camaraderie, competition and fun of sport or game yields an intensity that cannot be matched by other workouts.

While it challenges the world’s fittest, the CrossFit workout program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual, regardless of experience. We’ve used our same Crossfit workout routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

CrossFit is a complete, high intensity, fitness regime, designed around the practical movements you do each day. The CrossFit workout is meant to help you get fit and feel better every moment of the day, no matter who you are. By varying the exercises you do each day, the CrossFit workout ensures that every muscle in your body gets toned, and that you get the most out of your hours in the gym. Taught in a small class setting, athletes become part of a cheering, high energy group and find they are able to accomplish much more than they previously thought possible
