École Secondaire Foothills Composite High School (ÉSFCHS) and the Alberta High School of Fine Arts (AHSFA) are opening their doors to future students and families on March 19, inviting the community to experience the wide range of programs, pathways, and learning environments that support student growth and success.
The open house is designed to help incoming students and their families explore the many opportunities that await students—whether they are beginning high school, looking to pursue their passions, or seeking pathways that support their future goals.
ÉSFCHS and AHSFA operate together as a unique dual‑campus learning community serving approximately 1,200 students. This model ensures all students—whether they select an academic, arts‑focused, or career‑oriented path—have access to the full breadth of courses and learning experiences available.

French Immersion & Multilingual Learning
The French Immersion program is lively and built on proven teaching methods, along with strong support for learning a second language across the division. Students strengthen their language skills and will be provided the opportunity to write the DELF exam (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française) that certifies their French proficiency. Families will have the opportunity to tour learning spaces, meet teachers and school leaders, explore programs firsthand, and ask questions about course options, pathways, and transition to high school.
