Read-a-thon Prizes

Trophy

We are just over halfway through our Read-a-thon! We hope students are doing well with tracking their reading/literacy on their calendars and are busy gathering pledges.

The top three fundraisers in the school will win Principal, Vice Principal or Gym Teacher for the Day plus their pick from the below prizes. Prizes will be awarded in order starting with the top fundraiser until all the prizes have been awarded. Please talk with your child about which prizes you would be happy with them selecting as we will not be able to call all the fundraising winners to discuss this on prize day (Friday, March 4). Pledges and forms must be turned into the school by Thursday, March 3 to be eligible for prizes.

The top fundraiser for each classroom will win a 3D Printed Westmount Read-a-thon bookmark, a candy bag from Sweet Threads, a choice of book and teacher of the day.

Students who read or participate in literacy activities 5 days each week during the read-a-thon and turn in their tracking calendar will have their names entered in a draw to win a prize. These prizes include 3 treat baskets, 3 hats, a kids spa basket, a large jenga game, a unicorn neck massager and card games to name a few.

We encourage you to keep reading and gathering pledges especially during your week off school!
