Principal’s Welcome – 2025/2026 School Year
š Welcome Back, School Community!
It is with great enthusiasm and anticipation that I welcome each of you to the start of our 2025/2026 school year. As we gather once again—returning friends and new faces alike—our halls come alive with excitement, possibility, and the promise of another remarkable journey together.
This year brings fresh opportunities to learn, grow, and celebrate the spirit of our vibrant community. Whether you are setting foot in our classrooms for the first time or you are a seasoned member of our school family, your presence enriches our shared experience.
Our dedicated staff have been preparing their spaces and engaging activities to spark curiosity and ignite a love of learning. Families, your partnership continues to be the cornerstone of our success, and together we will nurture resilience, creativity, and kindness in every student.
Let’s embrace the adventures ahead and support one another through challenges and triumphs. Remember, our door is always open, and communication is valued—reach out with questions, ideas, or simply to say hello.
Wishing you all a year filled with discovery, connection, and meaningful moments. Here’s to making the 2025/2026 school year our best yet!
Warm regards,
Griffin
š Upcoming Events
- Transition Day - Aug 29
This will be a no student day – however, if you would like to come in for a visit, whether you are new to the school or not, let us know! Call the office and we can set up a time for a quick (15 minutes or so) visit.
- First Day of School – September 2
We’re counting down the days until we welcome students back on Tuesday, September 2! The first day marks a fresh start for new friendships, discoveries, and adventures in learning. Whether you’re joining us for the very first time or returning for another exciting year, we can’t wait to see your smiling faces in the halls. Let’s kick off the 2025/2026 school year together with energy, curiosity, and a sense of community!
- Pancake Breakfast – September 5
We will be sending classes over to the hall across the street for a nice breakfast! The older grades will go last so it will be worthwhile to still have a little breakfast at home before heading to school.

ā° Tip of the Week: Easing Into a Back-to-School Routine
With the start of a new school year, re-establishing routines can help everyone transition smoothly and set a positive tone for the months ahead. Here are a few simple strategies to help your family get back on track:
- Start adjusting sleep schedules early. Begin winding down bedtime and wake-up times in the days leading up to the first day so mornings feel less rushed.
- Create a visual checklist for daily tasks like packing lunches, organizing backpacks, and choosing outfits the night before—making mornings more efficient and stress-free.
- Set aside time for connection. Whether it’s a quick breakfast chat or an after-school debrief, brief moments of togetherness can help everyone feel supported as they settle into new routines.
- Celebrate small wins. Recognize and praise efforts to stick to routines, reinforcing positive habits and building confidence.
Remember, it’s normal for routines to take a little time to click into place. Be gentle with yourselves, stay flexible, and celebrate progress along the way. Wishing you a smooth and joyful transition into the school year!
ā Closing Thoughts
As we look forward to the year ahead, let’s remember that every small effort adds up to something extraordinary. Thank you for being such an essential part of our school’s journey. Together, let’s make this year one of inspiration, growth, and lasting memories. Here’s to a wonderful start and the many successes yet to come!
