Welcome to École Okotoks Jr. High School!

École Okotoks Junior High School (Grade 7, 8, 9) is located in the heart of the Foothills School Division in Okotoks, approximately 15 minutes south of Calgary. The construction of Okotoks Upper School, now Okotoks Junior High School, took place throughout 1912 and officially opened in January 1913. When Foothills Composite School opened in 1985 the school's name changed to Okotoks Junior High School.

EOJHS is a dual track French Immersion school, which means we offer English and French language instruction and is home to over 400 Ocelots, the name of the school’s mascot!  Our school has a wide variety of complimentary courses ranging from Construction, Foods and Fashion to Digital Art and Design.  We also offer a rich Fine Arts program including band, musical theatre, and drama. A thriving athletics program is offered at the school as well with lots of opportunities for student athletes to hone their skills.

For more information on programs, enrolment and other information, tour through our website or call 403-938-4426 for more information.

IT’S A GREAT DAY TO BE AN OCELOT!
