DMG Christmas Activity Night
Hello DMG Families!
We are excited to share important information about our upcoming Christmas Activity Night, Wednesday, December 7th from 6pm - 7pm. We look forward to a fun filled night of singing, tobogganing, fun activities in the pod areas, hot chocolate and of course, Santa Pictures.
The schedule of events is below:
Flower Pod Activity - Beaded Candy Cane Ornaments
Mrs. Slavin, Mrs. Hinton/Mrs. Thompson, Ms. Szuromi, Ms. Slywka, Mrs. Fenske
Animal Pod Activity - Gingerbread and stocking foam shape tree ornaments
Mrs. Gushulak, Mrs. Peverett, Mrs. Fyten, Mrs. Anderson
Tree Pod Activity - Popsicle sticks and beaded crafts
Mr. Newman, Ms. Desrochers, Mrs. Mak, Mrs. MacDonald, Mrs. O’Brien
As well as the activities, we will have the opportunity to toboggan on the hills, a fire outside and hot chocolate. BYOS (Bring Your Own Sled) if you are choosing to go outside . And, make sure to dress warm for this! Please note: an adult supervisor will need to be present for this.
Santa Pictures will be available for a small fee of $2/person or $5/family. All proceeds will go to support our school literacy program.
Our DMG School Choir and our own local band, Haggis will be performing in the gym. There will be 2 performances *both the same*:
6:00pm - 6:25pm
6:30pm - 6:55pm
Feel free to come and join one of the performances and sing along and dance, if you feel up to it! Finally, we will have the DMG Book Fair running from 5pm - 7pm. Come out and see all the wonderful books and extras. It’s an easy way to shop for Christmas!
We encourage families who live within walking distance to DMG, to please consider walking. Parking is going to be an issue and is difficult without the extra people attending for our Activity Night. Thank you for all your support this year. We look forward to seeing you all very soon!
