Grade 9 Farewell Information

Westmount School Jr High Awards Ceremony and Grade 9 Farewell – Monday Jan 27^th at 9am 

Parents, please feel free to join us for our annual Jr High Awards Assembly and Grade 9 Farewell. We will be recognizing our students for their accomplishments this school year, wishing our grade 9 students well as they venture into high school, and reflecting on the past 10 years of learning at Westmount School. The awards ceremony will culminate with the traditional final grade 9 walk through the halls of Westmount as the K-8 students and teachers cheer them on.

Grade 9 Farewell BBQ Lunch

Following the awards ceremony and farewell march, our grade 9 students are invited to join staff for a BBQ lunch provided by JRRR BBQ.

Grade 9 Farewell Party – Monday June 27^th 5-8pm

All grade 9 students are invited to join us at the school for a farewell get together between 5-8pm. Food and drinks will be provided as well as a short program, photobooth, music, games, activities, and an opportunity for our students to spend one last evening hanging out as a group. To make this event as successful as it can be we are asking for your support with the following.

1. Slideshow – please email 3-4 candid photos of your grade 9 student, a Kindergarten aged-photo, and a recent photo to lainey.fischer@gm.fsd38.ab.ca by Monday June 20^th.
2. Any parents that are interested in helping or donating, please email Danielle Landry at danilandry74@gmail.com. A huge thank you to all of the parents who have already helped to plan and organize this event!
