2026 Indigenous Graduation & Awards Ceremony

We are proud to announce the third annual Indigenous Student Graduation & Awards Ceremony is set to take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026. The event is part of, and in partnership with, the Town of Okotoks Second Annual Powwow, Tipi Camp & All-Indigenous Artisan Market.
Indigenous Student Graduation & Awards Ceremony

3:00pm - 6:00pm
Viking Rentals Centre
204 Community Way, Okotoks
Self-identified First Nation, Métis, and Inuit students and individuals who have been nominated for the ASBA Honouring Spirit Indigenous Student Award will be recognized at this event. Graduates and award recipients who attend will experience:
- A shared meal for themselves and their families
- An honour song and recognition ceremony by Elders during Powwow supper break
- Participation in a giveaway of blankets, berry soup, and bannock to the public
