Jeromy Hall appointed Principal at École Okotoks Junior High School for the 2026-2027 school year

I am very excited and honoured to be joining École Okotoks Junior High School! I am grateful for the opportunity to join such a vibrant and flourishing community.

École Okotoks Junior High has played a pivotal role in the educational journeys of many past and future Okotokians. I look forward to working alongside staff, students, and the broader community to help lead and support the next generation of Ocelots.

Foothills School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeromy Hall as Principal of École Okotoks Junior High School, effective for the 2026–2027 school year.

Jeromy brings more than two decades of experience in Foothills School Division, having joined the team in 2003 as a teacher at École Secondaire Highwood High School, where he served for 12 years before moving to École Secondaire Foothills Composite High School | Alberta High School of Fine Arts in 2015, where he is currently a part of the school leadership team.

Throughout his career, Jeromy has demonstrated a strong commitment to high-quality teaching and collaborative leadership. He has held numerous leadership roles within school-based teams, including vice principal, instructional coach, science team lead, athletic director, and learning coach, contributing to positive learning environments and student success. In 2016, Jeromy completed Foothills School Division’s Learning and Leading program for aspiring school leaders, further strengthening his preparation for school leadership roles.

Jeromy holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Regina (1998) and a Master of Applied Sciences (Recreation and Sport Science) from Ohio University (2013), bringing a strong foundation in both educational leadership and student development to his role as Principal.

Jeromy is well respected for his relational leadership style, his commitment to student well-being, and his ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships with students, staff, and families. His experience and leadership approach align well with the values and priorities of École Okotoks Junior High School and Foothills School Division.

We are confident that Jeromy will provide strong and thoughtful leadership to the École Okotoks Junior High School community and will continue to foster a culture of learning, inclusion, and student success.
