École Joe Clark School

Join Us for School Council & Fundraising Society! 

All Joe Clark parents and guardians are invited to our School Council AGM on Tuesday, October 6 at 6:00 p.m. in the Joe Clark Learning Commons. We will review School Council roles and fill any vacant positions for the upcoming school year. The Fundraising Society meeting will follow. There is no obligation to attend both meetings, although we would love to have you join us for both!

Interested in becoming more involved? We are currently looking to fill several School Council roles for the upcoming year.

Chairperson

• Leads School Council meetings and works with administration to set agendas
• Acts as a liaison between families, the school, and the division
• Helps guide the overall work of School Council

Vice-Chairperson

• Supports the Chairperson and assists with meeting planning
• Chairs meetings when the Chair is unavailable
• Helps ensure continuity in School Council leadership

Secretary

• Records meeting minutes and attendance
• Shares minutes with members and supports communication and record-keeping

Social Media Coordinator

• Supports communication with families through School Council social media channels
• Works with administration to ensure information is accurate, positive, and timely
