École Joe Clark School to welcome Kerrie Reschke as Vice Principal in Fall 2026

Foothills School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Kerrie Reschke as Vice Principal at École Joe Clark School, effective August 21, 2026.


Kerrie is an experienced and dedicated educator with a broad K–12 teaching background and a strong foundation in inclusive education, student well-being, and collaborative leadership. She brings a deep commitment to Foothills School Division’s values of learning, relationships, and well-being, and is recognized for building positive school cultures grounded in trust, belonging, and shared responsibility.


Throughout her career, Kerrie has taught across a wide range of grade levels and roles, including classroom teacher, Physical Education specialist, Learning Support Teacher, Athletic Director and most recently as part of the Grade 1 Explore Program at École Percy Pegler School. Her work in experiential, outdoor, and land-based learning reflects a strong focus on student engagement, inclusion, and developmentally responsive practice.



Kerrie has intentionally prepared for school leadership through the completion of a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Leadership, along with her Alberta Leadership Quality Standard (LQS) certification. She is also a past participant of the FSD Learning and Leading cohort, where she strengthened her leadership capacity through collaborative inquiry, practical applications and system-level thinking.



Kerrie is a reflective, solution-focused leader who approaches challenges as opportunities for growth and improvement. Her leadership philosophy emphasizes visible leadership, collaboration, and the importance of walking alongside staff and students to support shared success. She is highly motivated to continue learning as a leader and is committed to supporting staff and students through thoughtful, inclusive, and strength-based leadership practices.


As she sets to join the École Joe Clark School community Kerrie shares, “I am thankful for the opportunity to continue growing as an educator and leader. This is a moment I have been working toward for many years, and I am truly excited to join and work alongside the staff at École Joe Clark School.”
