Front Door procedures at École Joe Clark School

We are sharing an update about a recent change to our front door procedures at École Joe Clark. 

As part of our ongoing commitment to student and staff safety, our front doors will remain locked during the school day. During morning arrival, the front doors will be open.  After the arrival period, doors will remain locked. 

If the door is locked when you arrive, please ring the bell and office staff will be happy to help. 

All families and visitors are required to enter the school through the main entrance and check in at the office upon arrival. Our team will be happy to support you and ensure you are signed in before proceeding further into the school. 

Locking our doors is a proactive measure that helps us: 

• Maintain a safe and secure learning environment 
• Know who is in our building at all times 
• Minimize disruptions to student learning 

We understand that this may feel like a big change, especially during busy mornings. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we all adjust. Our goal is to keep routines as smooth and welcoming as possible while prioritizing safety.
