Recognizing the Tragedy in Tumbler Ridge, BC
On behalf of the Foothills School Division Board of Trustees and staff, we extend our deepest condolences to the community of Tumbler Ridge.
We are profoundly saddened by the tragic events that unfolded yesterday. Schools are places of safety, connection, and belonging. When violence touches a school community, it reverberates far beyond its walls.
We hold the students, staff, families, and the broader Tumbler Ridge community in our thoughts during this time of grief. May they feel surrounded by care, compassion, and strength in the days ahead.
