Helping Children Stay Safe Online: Paul Davis Coming to Westmount School

2026-WMS-PaulDavis

Westmount School and Westmount School Council are excited to welcome nationally recognized online and social media safety educator Paul Davis for a free parent and caregiver information evening on March 20, 2026.

Children and teens are growing up in a digital world that is always “on”. Many families are asking the same questions:

  • How do I keep my child safe online?
  • What should I know about social media, gaming, and group chats?
  • How can I support my child’s wellbeing while they use technology?

Paul Davis has worked in the technology field for more than three decades and now speaks with students, parents, educators, and law enforcement across North America about online safety, social media, digital footprints, and more. His practical, plain-language approach helps families feel informed, confident, and ready to have important conversations at home. What you’ll learn at this event

During this session, Paul will help parents and guardians:

  • Learn about online privacy, safety, and safeguarding wellness
  • Understand what’s available online and how children and teens are accessing it
  • Make informed decisions about your child’s use of devices and online platforms
  • Gain tips for setting boundaries, building trust, and having ongoing conversations about technology use at home

There will also be time for questions so you can bring forward the real situations you’re seeing with your child’s online life.
