Make the most of summer with Foothills School Division Summer School

2026-SummerSchoolGrad

Summer break doesn’t have to mean putting learning on pause. Foothills School Division (FSD) Summer School empowers students to catch up, keep up, or get ahead—all in a supportive, flexible learning environment designed to set students up for success. Running July 2–30, 2026, FSD Summer School provides focussed instruction, experienced teachers, and meaningful course options that help students strengthen confidence, earn graduation credits, and explore future pathways. Best of all, students from any school board are welcome to register-- so take advantage of what FSD has to offer! Credits earned through FSD Summer School are fully transferable and count toward a student’s Alberta high school diploma, regardless of where they attend school during the year.

Why choose FSD Summer School?

FSD Summer School is intentionally designed to help students thrive:
  • Focussed learning – Students concentrate only on one course or learning bundle, allowing for deeper understanding and mastery.
  • Supportive environment – Small group and individual learning sessions help students build confidence and feel supported.
  • Dedicated educators – Experienced teachers and tutors are available during the school day to support student learning.
  • A head start on the future – Earn credits, complete prerequisites, and open space in next year’s timetable.
Whether students are preparing for graduation, strengthening core skills, or exploring career interests, FSD Summer School is a smart investment in their success.
