Nicolette Anderson Appointed Director of Financial Services and School Business

I am incredibly honoured and excited to join the dynamic team at Foothills School Division. It is a privilege to step into a role where financial stewardship and effective operational systems directly support the growth, well-being, and success of both its staff and students.



Foothills School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Nicolette Anderson as Director of Financial Services and School Business, effective September 9, 2026. In this role, Ms. Anderson will provide leadership for the Division's Financial and Central Services Department and will work closely with the Assistant Superintendent of Corporate Services | Secretary-Treasurer to support the Division's financial operations, reporting, and information systems.

A lifelong learner, Nicolette holds the Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) designation through the Canadian Payroll Association and has pursued extensive professional learning in payroll administration, financial management, human resources, leadership, and technology systems. Her commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth reflects her dedication to excellence in service and leadership.

Throughout her career, Nicolette has demonstrated a strong commitment to service, accountability, and operational excellence. She brings extensive experience in financial management, payroll administration, benefits management, budgeting, reporting, and human resource administration developed over more than two decades in both public and private sector organizations. Her experience includes leadership roles in financial services, payroll, benefits administration, and human resources, with a reputation for building collaborative relationships and providing exceptional service to employees and organizational leaders.

Since 2014, Nicolette has served as Coordinator of Payroll Services with Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools, where she has provided leadership for payroll operations supporting approximately 1,100 employees. Her expertise in PowerSchool Atrieve and other financial management systems, combined with her strong analytical abilities and commitment to accuracy, have contributed significantly to effective organizational operations.

Nicolette has demonstrated leadership through staff supervision, mentorship, system implementation projects, process improvement initiatives, and the development of efficient operational practices. She is known for her attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to balance complex priorities while maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Ms. Anderson is recognized for her collaborative leadership style, integrity, and deep understanding of the operational systems that support effective educational organizations. Her experience, commitment to continuous learning, and passion for supporting organizational excellence positions her for success in this system leadership role.
