Kindergarten

2026-K-Enroll

Starting kindergarten is a milestone—for children and families alike. In our schools, we believe every child deserves a confident, connected start to their learning journey. That’s why our ready to learn Kindergarten programs are fully integrated into the school community, helping children build the skills, relationships, and sense of belonging that set them up for lifelong learning.

Why Kindergarten with FSD?

Everyone Belongs
Your child learns and grows within the same school they will continue in for years to come. This continuity helps your child make and maintain friendships, build trusting relationships, understand routines, and feel genuinely at home in their learning environment.

Strong, Positive Relationships
Our schools prioritize meaningful connections. We get to know each child—their interests, strengths, and unique ways of learning—so they feel seen, supported, and valued.

A Strong Start in Literacy and Numeracy
Early literacy and numeracy skills are woven through everyday activities in playful, engaging ways. Children explore stories, sounds, patterns, numbers, and problem‑solving through hands‑on learning that builds confidence and curiosity.

Our approach ensures children develop the early skills they’ll use throughout their school years—while still learning through play.

Access to Specialized Supports
We know every child develops differently. Our system has in-school access to speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other professionals who collaborate directly with schools, students, and their families. Support happens in familiar spaces, with trusted adults.

Individualized Planning When Needed
If your child benefits from an individualized learning plan, we work closely with families to develop supports that fit their needs. Together, we create a pathway that empowers every child to thrive.

Learning Through Play, Exploration, and Belonging
Our classrooms are warm, joyful, and designed to spark curiosity. Children learn through hands-on activities that build early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and confidence—all while having fun.

A strong start today builds the foundation for tomorrow
By choosing kindergarten in your community school, your child becomes part of a caring, connected environment where learning feels safe, meaningful, and exciting.
